As an ex-Muslim like myself I agree with you one hundred percent. Any devout Muslim may experience serious internal turbulence when a crucial decision is to be taken in matters of Infidel West versus ANY MUSLIM COUNTRY (irrespective of despotic nature of its leader). There are secondary texts on this aspect. If Dr. Pipes is interested, the ex-Muslim circle of the world can provide him with authentic Hadith where the fallacy or dichotomy of "Muslimness" is depicted very clearly. It is time western terrorism experts should do more research on WHAT LIES BEHIND THE TEACHINGS OF ISLAM that may motivate a person to kill ...
