Frustration

Reader comment on item: Columbia University vs. America

Submitted by Ken Besig (Israel), Apr 5, 2003 at 16:34

These professors must be terribly frustrated to realize that they have been unable to bring either their own students or the American public to their point of view. Worse, by their hyperbole and ranting, they only demean themselves and their professions. I mean after all, calling for a million Mogadishus is only a slightly more clever way of screaming "Death to America,' and accusing the US of oppressing the world is just another way of yelling "The Great Satan." I frankly expect much more than that from educated people.
