Reader comment on item: Columbia [University] vs. America

Submitted by Prof Wm Clayton (United States), Apr 2, 2003 at 08:14

Could we not have been supplied the address or email and names of Dean and president whom we could contact? I don't even have a NY City phone directory.
Why is a "teach in" always anit-American or anti-establishment? At a university/college/high school, should not a teach in be an OBJECTIVE laying out of all possibilities? Should not the students be exposed to ALL views and not just one, no matter what the issue? I have never seen an objective gathering at the college where I teach.
These things ought to be called BIAS INS.
Thank you
