Columbia Not the Gem of America

I commend the insight and intelligence of some who recognize this serious problem we have in US higher education. I particularly like the way one summed up the 'Hate America/Blame America first' professors and associates who spew out their arsenic-laced criticism of our government : "and so they are indigenously the root of our problemis having youth educated, particularly in higher education, in such limited outlooks."

Having graduated from UC Berkeley, I am all too familiar with the insidious nature of this camp of professorial propagandists. These wannabe icons of an anarchic universe are free to speel their pathogenic diatribe with impunity. The result is a cynical world view (always limited and askew) impressed upon the eager, malleable minds of our youth. That is not what a good and responsible teacher does.
