Dr. Pipes,
I wanted to just offer a simple thank you for everything you have taught me since 9/11. As a former liberal from New Jersey, I have, thanks to your writings, learned the other half of the story. I now live in North Carolina and have found that "middle America" is more aware of the world situation than most "liberal" establishment types. Thanks again for all of your writings.
