Mr. Pipes,
I am not sure if you have addressed the issue of the Palestinians teaching hatred to all their children as well as using Mosques to educate to hatred and inciting to violence against Israelis and Jews. the Saudi's are in the same business.
All of this has occuring while attempting to negotiate various Peace agreements between the Israelis and the Palestinians. None of the Leaders involved in these negotiations ever made the education issue a major component of the Peace process.
I have taken the initiative in contacting persons like yourself to try to bring attention to Hatred Education as being the deterence to Peace. . How can any of us expect Peace to be possible if they are allowing the teaching of Hatred? It is beyond my comprehension, that anyone can be involved in a negotiation process with another party who is working against the goals of Peace. They have added to the frustration on both sides, by not dealing honestly with the situation. Good intentions do not necessarily bring good results.
I do not intend to be arrogant, but please join me in my effort to raise the consciousness of the education issue and how important it is to a lasting Peace, as difficult as it may be to accomplish.
Thank you for your time,
David Eckhaus
