For too long, Israelis and their supporters abroad clung to the belief that somehow peace could be achieved with the Arabs if only one could find the right formula. Now, sadly, the truth has dawned on them. Yasser Arafat and his backers in Arab countries have conducted a successful PR campaign to convince the world that if only Israel would leave the territories there would be peace. But all along they have been scheming and deceiving in order to pursue their goal: the destruction of Israel.Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
