Palestinian Propaganda is being exported worldwideReader comment on item: Polls, Palestinians and the Path to Peace Submitted by David Steinberg (Australia), Feb 26, 2003 at 20:24 For political reasons the war between Israel and the Arab world has been painted as a war between Israel and the would be Palestinians .There was a time when Israel was portrayed as a victim of aggression from its arab neifghbours, a David and Goliath situation which gave it huge support from international media and even the traditionally antisemitic European Countries. In the most machiavelian of public relation campaigns executed with unbelievable success the roles have been inverted and Israel is now a pariah state and Palestinians are the victims of Israeli oppression. Those who ponder how this could have come about must bow in admiration to the Arab propaganda machine and realise that if in the space of just a few years they can achieve such turnarounds then the world is theirs. Already Bush is being called a war criminal and could we expect a Nobel peace prize for Saddam Hussein if the spin continues and there is no intervention in Iraq? As long as we accept the role created by followers of Islam as Victims of western greed and aggresion, we will manufature any amount of excuses and blame ourselves for their outrages. Mullahs in our own countries preach our destruction hidng behind our belief in freedom of religion, we do not arrest them. So terrified are we of political incorrectness. We know As long as we do not march in Sympathy for the million Sudanese Christians ethically cleansed through Jihad As long as we do not march in Sympathy for the Nigerians butchered with Machettes, or the Indonesians slaughtered as they worship in their churches As long as we do not march in Sympathy for the hundreds of thousands of Women killed oppressed or genitally mutilated in the Muslim World We will have no dignity and will only march to the tunes of fundamentalist organised anti americanism as the world has seen recently.
