Destruction of Israel and Finally the West

Dear Mr. Pipes: I read your material whenever I can and agree with your thoughts. Palestine, and by extension, radical islam has only one enemy; Western society and culture. Israel is an island of democracy in a sea of hatred. We must fight radical islam to a standstill. We cannot be safe until we break the back of opposition in Iraq and Saudi Arabia. We are being attacked with our own oil money. As a war veteran I am certainly aware of its horror, but I know that it can be just. What has Israel and the US done to the world to be hated so much? We exist as a slap in the face for all the worlds miscreants. Incidently, I am Roman Catholic and a Republican. My position comes from knowledge and an awareness that timidity gains us only intolerance.
