European dilemmaReader comment on item: Deterring Tehran Submitted by Octavio Johanson (Italy), May 20, 2006 at 17:00 As a European, I don't understand why we are so pro-Iranian. I will never understand why we have always to be pro-Muslim. I, myself, vote for a social-democrat European party. But. Euro-socialism cannot be the problem. It is part of the problem, but there must be much more. This is one the dilemmas of human life: why are Europeans pro-Iranian/ Muslim? It is a bit like asking why the Americans are pro-Mexican. Life is strange. Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please.
