good articleReader comment on item: Deterring Tehran Submitted by Harrak (Canada), May 16, 2006 at 23:56 ...very informative..a bit exaggerated in the area of Hizbollah`s readiness to strike from within the US. Latin America. we agree and the example of their power in that area is the bombing of Israeli Embassy in Argentina -mid 90s-to revenge the murdering of their former sec general Abbas Mussawi. by Israel..There are reports that even former Argentinian head of satate Carlos Mun`3im (syrian origin) was involved.. Bottom line, Hizbollah is the most bitter enemy the USA can provoke by an attack against Iran. Those guys are far more sophisticated and effective socially, militarily -guerilla-, media wise etc..what can one say!! well you can ask the Brits for what they did to disarm the IRA or ask the Spanish how they got away with the armes of ITA. These two countries are expert in this area...other than that, it is a long term lose lose deal.
