The Shiite and Sunni are not the same as the Cathor and Prontant sects in Europe.Reader comment on item: Deterring Tehran Submitted by CharlesBHoff (United States), May 16, 2006 at 22:42 The two largest sects in Islam slip very early in Islamist history compare to the slip in the Christian world in the 1500's when the Christian of Europe fought than 30 year war between themselves and spent the next 400 years not talking to each other afterward. While in the Islamist world there was no 30 year war between the two sects and the scholar and leaders of both sect always met and talked to each other.
