The Bully and the Thinker

"It seems the violent and ongoing reaction is doing nothing but supporting an image of terror."

As if the protestors care what you think is the "image" of Muslims. The Christian West had a negative 'image' of Islam long before 9-11 -- for the last 1000 years. It's irrelevant what they do or don't do.

"But the one thought that always pops up in my mind is when I was in high school and I had to face the bully who told me what I had to do. Only when you stand up to the bully will the terror stop."

No, the right analogy to describe the current situation is this: Someone (say black or Chinese) spits on your face. To 'stand up' to that 'spit terror', you go to a room full of Chinese and start cursing their mother and mocking their 'race.' Only an irrational idiot would think that would end the 'spitting terror'. Obviously you have no ability to think logically -- your above analogy proves the point.
