I think that the Muslim mass migration into western Europe and the US will help keep the Muslim world from reaching too below Western technological standards. As we know in US, illegal Mexican aliens and their loyalty for their country is very high as can be seen in the amount of money being sent back into the Mexican economy and their persistence of wearing the Mexican flags etc and insisting on making their community almost like home and not assimilate into the sludge of American illegal immigrants.
