Why should I give up my "Idea of the West"

I like my lifestyle. I've seen how Iraqis live, not too attached to the way they live. As a matter of fact, most of the arabs living throughout the world, LOVE western stuff; even as they decry and denounce it.

I see people literally living in huts of reeds and mud. I LOVE the idea of the west. That's my choice. You choice is to stay where you are, or give up YOUR idea of the west. Or do you like your 52 inch plasma screen tv too much to move to some theocratic country?
