Reader comment on item: Islamists, Get Out

Thank you Rick for answering Freelancer,

Although I can add millions of examples on how Muslims impose their religion on non-muslims, I will only mention few more points.

As I mentioned before, I am Arabic, I didn't only read the Quran in its Arabic language "which I am fluent in", but also I was taught the Hadith, Tafseer, Mohammad's teachings, his life, history of Islam, reasoning of all of Mohammads marriages, reasoning of all of the muslims wars, life of his wars leaders, etc. I have built my acceptance to Christianity based on critical thinking and analysis of all religeons including Christianity.

I believe that any religion can only be considered a message of GOD if this religion promotes unconditional peace, and unconditional love to all humanity regardless of differences. There is no place of wars or hate "whatever the justification is, even if it is for self defence" in any religion. We can defend ourselves and our rights in a civilized manner with extreme caution of not hurting other people around us. There is always a place for win-win resolutions.

Even the Israeli- Palestinian conflict would have been resolved 50 years ago if reasoning was used then and if peace was the main aim for each party.

I don't blame you Freelancer for finding it hard to accept the teachings of the bible, it is extremely hard to accept that we have to be capable of unconditional love in order to understand GODs love and passion toward humanity. That's what Jesus taught us and proved to us in his painful death. I don not blame you for finding it unacceptable to "bless your enemies", to "love your enemies as much as you love yourself". This is the main message of the bible. This message was clear with no contradiction in all of bibles that were written by four different people, in four different dates, four different places and different languages.

The bottom line is that, tolerance, freedom and acceptance is what we are enjoying today in the Western civilization, we have to respect the Western civilization, stop criticizing how women dress, do not assume that Christianity is corrupt because it doesn't comply with Islam. For instance, please accept the fact that the majority of non muslim women wear shorts not to show their legs or to be treated as sex objects but because shorts are comfortable especially during exercise and when it is hot. If I wear short in my home country I will be looked at as a slot, but here no one is even looking or noticing not because western men can have sex anytime they want with any woman they want, but because most of western men respect the freedom of women.

With respect to all
