Separating Islam from LeadersReader comment on item: Islamists, Get Out Submitted by Freelancer (United States), Sep 19, 2005 at 17:22 Everyone needs to understand that Islam is not represented correctly by the middle east, or by terrorists or suicide bombers. Yes, they are corrupt, yes they are wrong, and its time the world divorces Islam from terrorists and leaders of the Middle East.Those leaders that Diana mentioned are absolutely wrong in what they do, and there is no doubt in it, however, that does not affect Islam. Islam is and will continue to be a religion of peace regardless of what people who consider themselves Muslims do. There are many christian people who have done terrible acts in the name of Christ or God, that does not make Christianity a religion of violence or of corruption. Invoking God during an act of terrorism does not make God evil, it makes the human being evil. And Diana, no one is trying to control what you think. What are you referring to?
