Samir,
-Hiding behind "arabic cannot be translated properly " to cover violence and hatred in quran does not work. Actually verses are harsher in arabic then their translations.

-When quran says disbeliever, it means non muslims, what else does it mean?
-It does not matter which kind of disbeliever, they are all infidels and must be killed and will burn in hell, accorgding to quran. As a matter of fact from days of Mohammed muslims have been killing each other calling each other kafirs. Prophet himself had mosques burnt with muslims in it . Three of four caliphs were killed. Abu Bakr's son killed Osman.The two dearest people to Mohammed , Ali and Ayesha ,fought with each other killing 10,000 muslims. Ali also killed thousandsf of pious kharijite muslims, who in turn killed him.

-Please dont quote bible because quran says it is corrupted.

-Dont quote concilliatory ayas of Mecca about christians and jews because they were abrogated.

-You wrote that you find beauty in quran. I do not know how you find beauty in it when most of it talks of violence, booty, loot, sex with captured women slavery and and slaying. You have to be Bin Laden, Zarqawi, Misri or Bakri to find beauty in quran.

- Dont talk of context because hadiths and siras ( context and chronology of quran) are more violent and gory.

-If a muslim says "I love you " to an infidel, he is going against quran and sunna or he is following the islamic rule of deceit called "taqiyya".
