If you don't want to be a regular citizen, get out

Reader comment on item: Islamists, Get Out

Submitted by Donald W. Bales (United States), Aug 30, 2005 at 12:35

So far as I am concerned, this should apply to all foreigners who want to come to the U.S.
They obviously didn't like it where they were or they would have stayed there. So why should the U.S. change to be like their former country? Love it or leave it. And I wish that would apply to those whose ancestors have been here for generations as well.

I am the first to criticize my city, my county, my state, my country when any of those need it, but I am also the first to defend it when it is attacked by those from without. Therr are plenty of cars, buses, trains, ships and planes to take them to wherever they think things are better.

To me there is the U.S. and then there are all the rest-inferior. I know about about the warts and blemishes, too.
