Reader comment on item: Islamists, Get Out

How do you treat an Islamist who: 1) follows the law, 2) believes that Sharia should be established in the US by convincing Americans that Islam is right through peaceful means, and 3) doesn't send money to terrorists?

Frankly, I'm not certain that these folks outlined above should be treated differently from any other guest or citizen of this country. To me, it's their right to be misguided. We're home to all sorts of kooks, losers and freaks. And they who want to establish a supremacy of sharia are simply deluded.

But I'm not certain. Perhaps the time IS coming when all Islamists must be forced to choose, that an oath to our constitution must be tested.
