in response to reader comment: Loss of credibility

DNM:"..

"If Muahmmad is to come down to earth on his little Buraq for a visit he will not recognize Islam and the reason is the Qur'an is the only literary source than can be traced to this Muhammad""

More spiels. . . the funny thing is over the years - hardly ANY reader er . . . tried to help him. His fairy tales are such that even his own side doesn't pay any attention. How galling!

That is just another blanket statement Mr Amin. It's easy to voice an opinion - but you have to back it up with facts - otherwise you yourself are the one demonstrating your ignorance and very much creating the 'loss of credibility' which you are aascribing to others. If there is a particular point that you think DNM has made in error - state it, then state your reasons for disagreeing.

In this particular case, which 'fairy tales' are you having an issue with? Did you mean 'Muhammad is to come down to earth on his little Buraq for a visit ...' ??

Yes - you"re right - that IS a fairy tale - but is the point lost on you? DNM knows full well that the burak - and perhaps even Mohammed himself are fairy tales. - he's just being facetious. Would it be possible that deep down, you, Mr Armin - also suspect that buraks are a fairy tale?

If not and if you have empirical evidence of the existence of buraks - please feel free to share them. (Islamic 'scriptures' do not count as evidence unfortunately.)
