Is this meant to be an oblique reference to the evils of Western science'? Yes, it is a truism that nuclear energy can been adapted for peaceful use but also be also used as weaponry. Yes, Hiroshima and Nagasaki were a potent demonstration of the dark side of nuclear energy. Yet they abruptly stopped the war in the Pacific. That was nearly 70 years ago. Since then - the major powers - USA and Russia have refrained from using them - because they both know there are no winners.

But that has not stopped muslim crackpots in countries like Pakistan and Iran from attempting to go hell for leather into nuclear weapon production .

But why single out nuclear energy as being a particular problem when there are so many more that actually kill people? Why not focus on arms and explosives buying by muslim governments supplying de facto wars or Saudi funded terrorists?

More people in developing countries are killed by diseases EACH year than by all the deaths caused by the atom bombs dropped on Japan. Diseases which have been all but eradicated from Western countries by Western medicine. Many of those are muslim countries. Research and development by non-muslim countries has led to the technology we have in the modern world - including the computers and screens some troglodytes use to try to discredit Western technology and ingenuity.
