There is a very interesting article in today's news about the conflict between Christian farmers and Muslim nomads/herders in Nigeria

And this conflict is no more than what Muslims did back in the 7th century CE and still do and that is to bring their herds be it sheep, goats or even camels to feed on the crops in the lands of (and in this case Christian farmers) non Muslims

I guess history is the habit of repeating itself
