Free agents?

Dear Prof Pipes,

This question is very much gnawing the Indians in general and Hindus in particular.

Let there be no illusion that Islam has no respect for other faiths as evidenced by its classificaion of humans, viz.,1) Muslims, 2a)Jews, b) Christians and 3) Kafirs/Infidels. Violence and terror have been internalised in Islam.

Islam has legitimised violence against Kafirs as pious acts. It has taken away the the sense of guilt,conscience, compunction, contrition from the Muslims who are given a blank cheque to do any thing thay please - all in the name of Islam.

In fact , the brutal history for the last 14 centuries cannot be hidden, wished away (which the apologists of Islam want) or forgotten especially by the victims.

I wonder whether you know the late Mr Hamid Dalwai(1932-77), an Indian Muslim leader of atheistic persuation. He exhorted the fellow Indian Muslims to have the courage to look at the mirror and introspect on what the Muslims did the Hindus for about 8 centuries.

I shall never tire of saying that Muslims are not free agents unless thay come out of their Islamic shell. I can only hope and pray that the tribe of such Muslims may increase.
