Balance in perspectiveReader comment on item: What Are Islamic Schools Teaching? Submitted by Erim Chaudhury (United States), Nov 26, 2007 at 09:16 Hello Everyone, I would like to just add some thoughts.... First and foremost being a Muslim, parent and a teacher in a Muslim and Public school as well as having the understanding of both Eastern and Western cultures, I think we all need to SERIOUSLY try to understand and communicate EFFECTIVELY if we want a brighter future for ALL children. Hatred is not confined to a religion but a way of a negative, irrational and disgusting pattern of thought which has NOTHING to do with Islam. I have learned to be an honest, loving and compassionate educator to all people due to my religion. I strive hard everyday to help all children be the best and most of all HUMAN. I don't think pointing the finger at the other party is a positive and healthy solution for anyone or writing an article that only shows one perspective. Why not show that whole picture and also talk about Muslims that are contributing to our society in a positive way. I hope in the future if we talk about hatred we also find means to get rid of it an honest way. Thanks and have a wonderful day!
