Daniel Pipe's and Anti-IslamismReader comment on item: What Are Islamic Schools Teaching? Submitted by Qamrul A. Khanson (Canada), Nov 23, 2007 at 19:32 ... Any Islamic institute in North America would never teach anything which is against the social binding, co-existence and peace in the society. The Islamic Institutes have their principles from the Qur'an and never targeted against any individual or a religion. However, teachings against sins recognised in Islam are purely a religious matter which has nothing to do with the existing laws of a resident country. The Muslims coming out of these Islamic institutions are the best, non-offendive, moral citizens and ethical inhabitants of Canada and USA. Daniel Pipes should have thoroughly studied about these Islamic institutes which are strictly conforming to the laws of a resident nation and student products of these institutes are never rapists, gangsters, alcoholics and crime committers. ... With this letter, I invite Daniel Pipe to be a student in The Institute of Islamic Learning at Ajax; ON Canada and see himself what they teach and what they produce. Definitely, it will bring some commonsense to him. Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please. Reasoned disagreement is welcome but not comments that are scurrilous, off-topic, commercial, disparaging religions, or otherwise inappropriate.
