"Being an American means nothing to me"...

Reader comment on item: What Are Islamic Schools Teaching?

Submitted by Marcos Berenstein (Brazil), Mar 29, 2005 at 19:27

Yeah,Ibrahim...Share your thoughts with some ol'timers who witnessed
their pals being torn into pieces by German,Japanese machine-gun fire
during WWII,people who sacrificed their young lives in order to protect
America's freedom, the very same one that gave you the right to treat your
adopted country like a whore.

If some Muslims feel that way,why don't they pack and leave? Why don't they
go back to their wonderful native countries, then?

I'm not an American citizen,but If I were one, I'd be honored,delighted
for being part of that marvelous country.I'd be a proud, patriotic American
citizen,never a turn-coat,a Benedict Arnold,a Quisling.I despise traitors
wherever they crawl.

Congratulations,Dr.Pipes for exposing again the tentacles of Islamic
hatred in your country. It's shameful that U.S. Authorities are being too
weak to confront this menace.

American people will be forced to deal with this matter by themselves.
