Warriors against Israel in 1948 war get no rights

Reader comment on item: [UNRWA:] The Refugee Curse

Submitted by Dr. Irving Weinsoff (United States), Mar 17, 2005 at 12:24

When the palestinians left their home to fight against Israel in 1948 they had made a number of choices. First that they no longer are a part of the State of Israel created by the United Nations; that they would not obey or listen to the United Nations, that taking up arms against the new, immature and weak Israel would forever bar them from the Lands of Israel; that they were willing to give their lives and properties for the destruction of the state of Israel; That he who takes up arms against his nation and brother shall not return to become a spy or problem for the state.

While we see that the palestinians want it all back we can surmise that they seen what Israel did with the dessert and thay want it now. When they rose up against the State of Jorden the King had 20,000 killed and they then abandoned that quest.
