May I suggestReader comment on item: [UNRWA:] The Refugee Curse Submitted by BUCK FREEMAN (United States), Mar 10, 2007 at 18:44 In the nineteen seventies the refugees of the Vietnam War were taken into the United states. In a relatively short time many of those Americans became productive citizens. If America can help seemingly divergent cultures to assimilate to its culture and enjoy success, I wonder why the bonds of the palestinians seem so weak that they cannot take in and offer stability to what are supposed to be much closer cultural cousins.
