Dear Sir:
Your article is exactly correct and raises questions that are not addressed by our Government. Specifically, why are profiles not utilized to interdict potential terrorists? Recently while traveling with my thirteen year old daughter I observed the usual flurry of activity by the TSA inspectors/screeners at several airports. It seems that TSA time could be more effectively utilized to identify (1) those individuals who are of Arab/Muslim/Middle East background; (2) those individuals who have visited such countries; (3) those individuals who have visited countries listed on the State Departments list of nations that sponsor terrorism. Instead I watched TSA as it throughly searched an elderly semi-mobile woman. Is it politically incorrect to acknowledge the group(s) from which our enemies are recruited?
Why is anyone paying attention to CAIR comments on your nomination to the Peace Institute? Why is it politically incorrect to state the obvious: we have an active fifth column in this country, that fifth column is Muslim Fundamentalists and their organizational representatives.
