Let's assume for the moment you are correct, and there is no such thing as moderate Islam. We are left with four policy solutions: 1) kill all the Muslims; 2) place them all in concentration camps; 3) convert them to another religion/ideology; or 4) do nothing. If we reject the non-existence of moderate Islam as a premise, a fifth policy option becomes available, encourage non-violent democratic contests of intra-Islamic ideology to play out. The first four options are concessions of defeat. At least the fifth option offers the possibility of a way to coexist if not mutually benefit.
