Shahid,

Hiding the context? If so, why don't you tell us what the context is of whatever I have quoted.

Muslims always bring up context when they are unable to contest the terrible verses in the Koran and hadith.

By telling us a story about an everyday human event you think the similarity should apply to Allah the Almighty's revelation and His prophet's actions. You forget that you are detracting from Allah's powers. If to understand Allah's message you have to hunt around for obscure context buried in some musty old books what does it say about the Almighty's message?

By insisting that all verses have to be read in context you are blaspheming Allah, for He has clearly stated in His book that His messages are easy to understand in several places054.040 YUSUFALI: And We have indeed made the Qur'an easy to understand and remember: then is there any that will receive admonition? Also (39:28, 14:4). Now show us the context to these verses that make clear that their context actually give a different twist to what it says and that its real meaning is that the Koran is difficult to fathom.

Let me quote one or two verse from the Koran and you give us the context which will give their true meaning;

017.097
YUSUFALI: It is he whom Allah guides, that is on true Guidance; but he whom He leaves astray - for such wilt thou find no protector besides Him. On the Day of Judgment We shall gather, them together, prone on their faces, blind, dumb, and deaf: their abode will be Hell: every time it shows abatement, We shall increase from them the fierceness of the Fire.

006.125
YUSUFALI: Those whom Allah (in His plan) willeth to guide,- He openeth their breast to Islam; those whom He willeth to leave straying,- He maketh their breast close and constricted, as if they had to climb up to the skies: thus doth Allah (heap) the penalty on those who refuse to believe.

I had quoted this hadith to Mansoor:

Bukhari Volume 1, Book 6, Number 315: Narrated Anas bin Malik:

The Prophet said, "At every womb Allah appoints an angel who says, 'O Lord! A drop of semen, O Lord! A clot. O Lord! A little lump of flesh." Then if Allah wishes (to complete) its creation, the angel asks, (O Lord!) Will it be a male or female, a wretched or a blessed, and how much will his provision be? And what will his age be?' So all that is written while the child is still in the mother's womb."

What context can you give to stop readers from whooping with laughter when they read it?

Regards

Plato
