Re: The West's Islamist Infiltrators

Reader comment on item: The West's Islamist Infiltrators

The slow and sometimes silent aggression of Islamists reminds me of photographs printed in a national magazine years ago. One photograph captured a great mass of decomposing bodies, a collected heap of those thrown from a cliff. In the next photograph the clean shaven faces of the perpetrators of that violence calmly smiled at the camera in the happiest of ways. It was difficult, at least for me, to equate the two scenes to one another.

I have a similar resistance to equating highly educated people and other gentleminded folk as not only supporters of terrible violence but active participants of the same. Sadly, outward appearances cannot always reliably detail the inner workings of the mind. This small truth particularly applies to Muslims.

Islam is much more a religion of applied social pressure and is well less the practice of an individual seeking the approval of his own God. In all Muslim Mecca for instance, a squad of religious police enforce prayer and other behaviors upon anyone perceived to be outside the lines of prescribed behavior. This is Islam in its purest form! - Peace through being beaten into submission.

The establishment of a muslim world appears in the private discussion of all Muslims. Muslims participate in the forced establishment of Islam by mandate. Anyone arguing that Islam is a religion of peace is misinformed and/or misled.
