To Be or Not to Be - Politically Correct

Reader comment on item: The West's Islamist Infiltrators

Submitted by Rockmelon (United States), Aug 16, 2008 at 04:00

The ancient Chinese warrior Sun Tzu taught his men to "know your enemy" before going into battle. For if "you know your enemy and know yourself," he wrote, "you need not fear the result of a hundred battles." But, Sun Tzu warned, "If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat."

We know the enemy, but apparently we do not know ourselves. We know that the enemy is more likely to be of Middle East decent and Islamic.

As politically incorrect as that statement is, it is nonetheless true. For the sake of our nation and the preservation of a free society let's not place people of questionable allegiance to America in positions that threaten the security of the USA. If this is determined by racial profiling, so be it!

Let the history books point their fingers at our having done a grave injustice to Muslims, but by God, let the future generations know that we preserved their freedom and we will take the criticism in the name of self preservation.
