Not till leaders recognize it is a problem

Reader comment on item: The West's Islamist Infiltrators
in response to reader comment: Can we do more feasible action?

The biggest challenge with getting your philosophy off the ground is politics. Currently most of the leaders in Europe believe that radicalization in the Muslim community happens because of poverty and discrimination.

Their leftist ideals simply cannot deal with the fact radical Islam as an ideology, founded in the Koran, is against the very foundation of western principals. Attacks in Europe do not prove this theory out, as some of the terrorist were doctors. The lefts platform is not built on reality, but on a flawed vision of multiculturalism.

If you could create or further the efforts of a group that could start to change the views of these leaders and make them start to see it for what it is, as politically incorrect as that may be, you could make a difference. If they "saw the light" they could put money into programs that could reach Muslims that could - go the direction you have gone.

That will be difficult as these leftist cowardly politicians hate to create conflict, appeasement is so much easier. You would need to show them that their is an alternative - but the traditional Muslim establishment would not be on your side - it would be very difficult.

While it is my hope that something that is described above could work, it is my fear that the radicals will continue to steer the curve and it will lead to civil war in Europe within 20 years, either that or Europe will just lay down and die. That would be a tragedy for freedom around the world.

Other groups that should be politically attacking Islam (around the world) are women's groups and gays. But strangely, these leftists groups embrace Islam as being part of the oppressed. How ironic can you get. Lambs to the slaughter. What a strange world we live in. If Islam succeeds, all the things that the left holds dear will be the first things destroyed.

Freedom is not free, this and future generations, that have had this gift handed to them, must fight to keep the flame alive, or our children may live as slaves - or worse - embrace Islam.
