Dr. Ul Haque:

Kaixo! (Hello, in Basque)

I'd like to "flesh out" Aafia Siddiqui's bio. She was also accused of belonging to an Al Qaeda cell. She raised funds for Al Kifah, an openly violent Jihadist group in New York and Boston-allegedly involved in buying diamonds in Liberia to fund Al Qaeda. She was drawn into the world of terrorism through contacts and friendships she made in the early 1990's working for MIT's Muslim Student Association. She used to attend women-only halaquas (talks) held by Sister Sophia at the Islamic center of New England in Sharon. At times she addressed the halaquas. Sister Sophia is the wife of Bayouny Nehela, imam of the Islamic Society of Boston.

As far as I am concerned, Muslims should be prohibited from getting training in any of the sensitive science or engineering fields at any American university. The risks are just too great in this modern post 9/11 period when we are involved in a war with totalitarian Islam.

Now I'd like to address your statement that "It was Islam which gave you all universities, all hospitalsa (sic), all education otherwise entire Europe was in dark ages. Islam is peace and nothing but peace. They are so afraid of Islam that they have to lie to keep people away from it." This statement is simply taqiya!. I shall list the accomplishments that Muslims have made in medicine:

1000 AD-Numerous (15) innovations by Abu al-Mowsili, Muslim physician
1025 AD-Thermometer, Steam Distillation and Essential Oil by ibn Sina
1150-Inhalational Anaesthetic by ibn Zuhr
From 1150 to the present--No Islamic advances in medicine

Here is a brief history of universities:
900 AD-Madrasahs known as Jami'ah (University of Al Karanouine in Fez, Morocco
1000 AD-Bimaristan medical schools were founded in the Medieval Islamic world (Al-Azhor University in Cairo, Egypt)

Some medieval universities were influenced by the medieval Madrassah institutes in Islamic Spain, the Emirate of Sicily and the Middle east (during the Crusades)

Islam had minimal influence in the universities of western Europe. The earliest universities in Western Europe were developed under the aegis of the Catholic Church. Islam has had a negligible impact on the development of modern universities.

One of the earliest casualties of the marauding Muslim armies in Egypt was the destruction of of the library of Alexandria-hundreds of thousands of books, including priceless Greek texts, were destroyed by the Muslim invaders.

Do you know that more books have been translated into Spanish in 2 years than have been translated into Arabic in the past 1,1,400 years?

Your statement that "Islam is peace and nothing but peace" is the pinnacle of hypocrisy. It is disproved almost every day. Remember 9/11? The Spanish train bombing? The London Subway bombings? The countless suicide bombings of innocents? The "honor" killings? The murder of Theo van Gogh? The beheadings and amputations? The incessant hatred of Jews and Israel? The killing of any Muslim who dares to convert to another religion?

You are well aware that Muhammad, aswa hasana al kamil al insan, "the perfect man", engaged in unprovoked violence and bloodshed against the "infidels" and offered only three choices to non-Muslims: Accept Islam, submit as subservient Dhimmis and pay the Jizya, or fight and be destroyed or flee, all for the glory of Allah. The fervent followers of Allah and the Quran in this day and age, whether they be active Jihadist warriors or 5th column subversives and "fellow travelers" like Aafia Siddiqui, are merely following Muhammad's example. They cannot be allowed to subvert our free societies!

Eskerrik asko! (Thank you!)
