As the Chinese say, "A time of great danger is also a time of grand opportunity." And so it is in the Middle East! Hamas has become a pariah regime in an isolated territory. The flow of arms can only be via tunnels from Egypt or from the sea----both are somewhat restrictive. All israel needs is a provocation (a few rockets here and there) to launch a military assault against Hamas and restore Fatah----of course there will be favors granted and maybe this will be the time that moderate Israelis and Palestinians will grasp the opportunity. Of course the joker in the deck is Hizballah in Lebanon who could intercede in any conflict and then we will see some real action!
