Pat, don't expect too much!

What would the rest of the world do to protect the Israelis?

This is a very good question Pat.

And the answer is:

……Probably not more than it did to protect the Jewish People during the Holocaust: While Europe enthusiastically joined the German Nazi criminals in their murderous endeavor, the powers that were at war with the Nazi Beast, like the Great Britain et al, never lifted a finger to stop the smooth running of the Nazi Murder Industry. When initially Hitler showed willingness to let European Jewry to leave, there were no Free World countries willing to allow them in, and thus save their lives. Moreover during these darkest days for the whole mankind, Bevin, the British Prime Minister issued in 1939 the notorious "White Paper" closing the borders of Palestine (which has already been declared internationally as a "safe haven" for the oppressed Jewish People) to Jewish emigration – just when the Jews most desperately needed a place where to go.

In conclusion Pat, do not expect too much from "the rest of the world". It failed all previous tests.
