Slave mentality

Reader comment on item: Israeli Jets vs. Iranian Nukes
in response to reader comment: What Will Iran Do In Response To An Israeli Attack?

Submitted by Benzion (United States), Jun 13, 2007 at 12:07

Even committed Jews' inherent slave mentality which governs our lives in galut for 2,000 years. This feature of thinking suppresses any common sense logic.

Let's consider:
Iran , as we know, openly committed to the destruction of Israel. It not only says so but DOES prepare for this goal. It is in the final stages of acquiring the ultimate weapon.

And Israeli government and Jews responding to this article are questioning "What could be Iranian response to such Israeli attack?"
Let me remind all those "intellectuals" : If Israel looses the strategic timing to destroy Iran's nuclear and major military installations, then Iran will achieve it's goal and Israel will be destroyed. This cautious question "How Iran will respond" will not be needed any more.
This mentality is the same as Jewish Yudenrat during the WW2. When Jewish underground approached them to suggest a major revolt in the Vilnius Ghetto to try to save Jews, members of Yudenrat rejected the idea because they say German's response will be devastating. So, in the end Vilna Ghetto was totally annihilated without any major attempts to survive (except for few Jewish heros who were betrayed by Yudenrat and delivered to Germans for execution)...

Again, to all those who care about enemy's response: - Enemy will do all you are afraid of, anyway, if we allow them. Because this is why they are the enemies!
