Dear Mark
It looks like you have bought the Islamic PR machines rhetoric. However, I suggest that the violence, all of it, against Christians and Jews, isn't about religion as the Muslims would have you believe. Rather it is about the forceful application of Islamic laws in place of democracy or any other form of free government. Making this about religion just adds grist to the mill of Islamic slight of hand. They demand the right to freedom of religion in democratic countries because it is a protected right and gives them the added advantage of sneaking sharia in as part of "religion" and not a method of dictatorial govenment. Religion isn't at stake here. Democracy is.

How do I know this? Because if it was about religion as the Islamists would have you believe, you could mass convert the world over night and in the morning democracy would still exist and be in effect. And if you decided Islam wasn't for you, you could return safely to the practice of Judaism, or Christianity, or Animism. But since it is really about advancing a fascist dictatorial government, that next morning would be the end for democracy, Judaism, Christianity, Buddhism, and much of everything else. The world would become a social desert.
