Thom, your post is repleted with hatred and anger. We understand your sentiment though. just chill down there.

"Most CIVILIZED religions agree that God – or gods – various perceptions of "sin" though they may have, will never forgive the one, perhaps the greatest sin: not using your brain and allowing it to rot. "

Are you assuming that their holy book doesnt encourage them to use their brain? quite the contrary, my friend. The rise of the barbaric arab from their base level to the golden age attests to the fact that islam places great emphasis on learning. They wouldn't have preserved the greek manuscipt for us had they been instructed to allow thier brain to rot. And to single out muslims as the only group that dont use their brain is quite bias since all atheists seem of the opinion that all of the religious faith is based on blind acceptance.

"we can nuke Mecca and Riyadh for financing jihad against the free world; we can nuke Pakistan for its quiet support, aiding and abetting of Islamic terrorism – and indeed any country that contributes to the Islamic jihad against us. Why? Because WE CAN!"

Calm down there, buddy. it's good that you are not the president as this kind of decision would do both sides no good. i'm sure you don't mean it. Never make a statement based on your emotion especially if it concerns the lives of innocent civilians.

"All dialogues and conferences on "peaceful coexistence" with the Islamic world is a waste of time and money - "they" are not going to assimilate or integrate, "

Why would you want them to integrate? let's just accept the fact that we are all different. I have seen peaceful existence between muslims and other religious groups. Those constructive conferences are not a waste of time.

And i don't think the charge that they are stupid and iliterate is fair either. Many of the arab countries are rich and have programs to support free education. They just stop doing constructive science especially after they knew that they just had to sit on their oil and pay others to do the thinking for them.

lighten up! :)
