Conventional casualities

Conventional wars may be a thing of the past but the end result of death and destruction within the ranks of soldiers and civilians is worse than ever. One must worry about the consequences of any war that starts these days becoming a nuclear war, and then a world war. It is like a matchstick that could flame at any moment.
