The Islamic Academy of Florida, which Sami Al Arian founded concurrently with the the Palestinian Islamic Jihad network, is alive and well in Tampa. The school was never closed despite having had their Florida Pride educational grants revoked because they were used to fund terrorism.http://www.frontpagemagazine.com/Articles/ReadArticle.asp?ID=18355

Sami Al Arian the registered agent for the IAF and Abdul Biuk, who worked with Al Arian until his arrest, is the current director. Also listed as a director was Mazen Najjar, Al Arian's brother in law, who was deported from the United States on terrorism charges.

The Islamic Academy of Florida in Tampa is an elementary school which was started and run by self admitted and convicted terrorists and used for terrorism funding .This is indicative of what Dr.Pipes described as "the enemy's infrastructure" ,which in this case, is teaching the next generation of home grown Jihadis to follow in it's founder's footsteps.http://www.militantislammonitor.org/article/id/691
