Response to Sam Urquhart's excuses for Islam teachings

Reader comment on item: Subsidizing the Enemy
in response to reader comment: Half of the story

We don't need to hear any more of the story than that. We don't need to hear some lame excuse of why they are teaching these things. Please, do you really think we're that stupid to believe the weak reasons you quoted? I believe most people are getting quite tired of seeing one thing and being told by you all that it is quite a different story or quite a different thing that's actually happening. What is happening is that Islam teaches, believes, and operates under a certain mid-evil, terrorist-like mentality, and now you've come to the rest of the civilized world with more freedoms than you could ever, ever experience from your own countries and you think it is somehow going to catch on here and that you can keep spreading such teachings all over the world. Of course, you've noticed that the purists Muslim teachings are so totally shocking to the rest of the world that you've toned things down, sugar-coated them and tried to feed them to us as 'Islam is a religion of peace.' But as the article revealed, all one has to do is barely scratch the surface to get a good glimpse of the real deal.
