Sword, here's a fact. I don't know how much U.S. news you get, but there's a high school in Colorado here that has banned the American flag on school grounds because it is being seen as a 'sign of bigotry' due to the Mexican students who are protesting and waving the Mexican flag in their rallies. That is what happens when you don't guard against mass migration. We end up losing OUR rights! It's like you can't accept immigrants without repercussions. Now the talk is turning to how can the U.S. help Mexico's economy so they don't flood our borders. As you pointed out, there's a reason for immigration. They want to get away from their unbearable lives. But these people need to come in knowing that our laws and governments and constitutions are the reason we have countries they want to migrate to and if you can't take the good with the bad, GO AWAY! It's like marriage-- don't marry someone that you 'think' you can change or you'll be sorry.
