Reader comment on item: Something Rotten in Denmark?

Submitted by In Sweden (Sweden), Aug 18, 2010 at 13:34

Must say i agree with you. Been here 3 yrs...got thru the national examination (Swedish language) and an IT course all in swedish but there is still not opportunity to work. Went for an interview a week ago and the reason i did not get a job was because they felt my level of the language was not good enough ..strange part was all communiction whether written or verbal was in Swedish. An to top it all up it was an IT consultant vacancy in which most of the customers speak english. Well... i am not gonna condemn it though.....its the way it is. So a holiday in sweden i would recommend it ...otherwise dont bother- I am a father for 2 young children and i love them very much but the thought of moving to England is really playing on my mind.
