A simple question: why oh why do you think that Christians should be outraged about pictures of Muhammad ?

Muhammad is not the Prophet of Christians, nor is his faith theirs. His followers have extinguished the Christian faith completely in some parts of the world, and repressed it in others. Do you really, really, expect Christians to like him for that ?

You may say that Muslims respect the prophet Jesus, and that Christians should return the compliment, but the prophet Jesus you respect is not their Jesus, who claimed to be infinitely more than a prophet - but if you have not grasped that difference yet there is little point in me going on about it now.

By the way, George Bush did speak out against the cartoons, and then got burned in effigy in Turkey, which I think shows that outrage is a an ungrateful beast, and once it starts to bite we cannot know where it will stop. Much better to leave it caged somewhere quiet, I think.
