in response to reader comment: There is a silver lining in every cloud - rejoice Muslims

It is definitely a positive step for anyone to get closer to their religion whether it's Islam, Christianity, Judaism. I think most people on this site can agree every religion can have an extremist side, and I hope no one here is in that category. I have seen previous posts supporting terrorist activities, and some others seem to support violence when offended.

As far as anti-Islam hate, I don't hate Islam. I do see what looks like Islam haters in here. Do you see any anti-American hate going on in here? The problem seems to be that it's hard to separate out what is Isam and what is Islam extremism. Is Sarah representative of a moderate? Is it okay to get violent when some idiot offends your religion? I've been told by Dima that she doesn't believe Islam teaches that. It just seems to happen overwhelmingly more with Islam, for example, the college student attempting to kill fellow students with his SUV recently. Is there something fundamentally wrong with whoever is teaching Islam? None of us can turn a blind eye to this obvious problem. Maybe it's not easy to have the West point this out because I think there's too much of a love/hate relationship between us, and it's very easy to point out our flaws and not focus on this problem in particular.

Hopefully the moderates within Islam will take care of the problem somehow, but until then I know we can't allow it to continue with or without your help. You're right (referring to your other post) we need to unite in order to solve this problem!!!
