ok i'm alittle confused in here!..here's the first speech which we've heard..
"We have to show our opposition to Islam and we have to, at times, run the risk of having
unflattering labels placed on us because there are some things for which we should display no
tolerance," the queen said in an official biography published on Thursday, April 14.
------------------------------------------
then here's the second one by the "telegraph"..though some would think it has a slight hostile expressions, but certainly alot better than the first one !!

"We are being challenged by Islam these years. Globally as well as locally. There is something impressive about people for whom religion imbues their existence, from dusk to dawn, from cradle to grave. There are also Christians who feel this way.

"There is something endearing about people who give themselves up completely to their faith.
But there is likewise something frightening about such a totality, which also is a feature of Islam.

"A counterbalance has to be found, and one has to, at times, run the risk of having unflattering
labels placed on you. For there are some things for which one should display no tolerance. And

when we are tolerant, we must know whether it is because of convenience or conviction
In the original version of this story, relying on a translation provided by an international news

agency, the Telegraph quoted Queen Margrethe as saying "We have to show our opposition to
Islam".... But the correct translation should be "counter-balance". The story was re-published on Feb 16, 2006

Now you do suggest to avoid "telegraph" and the "BBC"!
i thought that was the right translation for that speech after being [re-shaped] "which actually
concerns me more in here, was this correcting a natural result for the riots and the violent
reactions in order to cool things down abit..or is it the real thing we couldn't reach?! "
yet the answer still unconclusive!...

as you referred to it eariler, more like a boring subject to investigate..but undoubtedly an
important one to be ignored as well..so i wont ignore it,i'll simply put it on the shelve of my "
hanged up issues"..for a further discussion in the near future..or till i find a good danish translator !
Submitting....
