Yeah, saw it and was obviously intrigued by it at the time However, it has to be said that Michael Moore has a well founded reputation for re-editing clips that can completely distort the actual meanings of what was originally said. It's no co-incidence that Michael Moore (man of the people) is a multi-millionaire. I couldn't go into specifics about details that were blatantly wrong (but you can probably find plenty if you Google hard enough!) but I did see a very interesting documentary investigated Michael Moore on Sky One by a British journalist called Janet Street-Porter. (For some reason, he is extremely reluctant to do interviews!) They basically demonstrated that you can pretty much record and edit any speech that you see on TV and twist it to mean whatever you want it to mean - simply by leaving out individual words.) They then showed a series of claims from the movie and proved them as being outright lies. As a percentage of the film I don't know how much misinformation there was but it's generally accepted that most of it was bogus. You find it hard to believe that he wasn't prosecuted if it isn't entirely true? Our good friend 'Freedom of Speech' protected him! You see, that phrase can hurt us as much as it can hurt you!

But he's VERY good at what he does and VERY entertaining (if you sympathise with his views) After all, how many documentaries have ever been so popular in cinemas? I can't think of many! But I would never believe anything that the guy says, though, without double-checking the facts first!
